Alton Towers?

I am going to Alton Towers in a couple of weeks and I want some recommendations/advice.

I've always had a thing about rollercoasters and I don't like them :(! Last year, I went on Air and I've been on it again since and I want to step it up. What should I go on next?

Well, you could go on rita or maybe spinball whizzer or whatever its called. If your really feeling really daring, go on oblivion or nemesis :)

I've gone on all the big ones, amasing fun. Nemesis is brilliant fun, just hope it doesn't slow down and come to a stop on it's climb to the first drop. Hanging there for about 5 minutes really gets your adrenaline pumping :D

Yeah, it just pushes you back a bit, then once its over you think "Thats a tad short :("

is nemesis the one where you stop for a bit then go down? each time you go on it you forget about that n still get **** scared when you're at the top, it gets repetitive and boring unless you go to the front :D i thought it was called oblivion ah well i only been once years ago, rita is kk nothin exciting for me:S so is spin ball wizzer don't go on the corkscrew cause that hurts n just aint fun, i've not been in years so yer. i think air is better than most of them tho so just try anythin if you've been on that, i liked one of that log things they r fun not scary yer but like i dunno what's better in air so dno thhx

Oblivion is the one that pauses at the top on purpose. I went on Nemesis and we stopped on the climb and we were shouting to the people waiting in the line to not get on the ride because it's too dangerous :P

I wouldn't have fell off, we were the right way up, and non of the latches came down or anything, it just randomly stopped...

Nemesis is fun but not scary in my opinion.
Rita isnt scary either its just fast and makes your heart go up for the first 4-5 seconds.
Air in my opinion is the scariest one for me!
& Spinball well I went on that once and was sick so when i go this year il go on it agen.
As for oblivion well its scary the first time you go on it and it looks scary but if you go on it once you can go on it again and again and it wont be a scary.

Did you find Air scary?! :O! I found it really really relaxing for some reason. From reading up, Nemesis doesn't go much faster, so I am considering that. I fancy Rita too. We have a picture of my dad on Spinball and his face was really red and he hated it. I'm not sure about oblivion. The thought of going down something that steep just gets me.

Im going to alton towers in july, tbh i hate big rides. When it comes to big rides im a "puff" but my mates are going on them all they said.. so for me.. Im going to have to go on then without being called a "puff" It's pretty nervous for me.

pricetags, biggest in the world.
im going on another at flamingo land, called mumbo jumbo; worlds biggest freefall coaster. It hangs you upside down, then throws you down a drop, upside down. Really bad. It looks awful. It goes really slow, so you're upside down for ages. Im'a love it.

Non of the rides at Alton Towers are super scary.

Air- Was nice and relaxing I thought, great concept though, actually did feel like you was flying.

Nemesis- Didn't really like it. Not the fact that it was scary but if you're sitting in any seat but the front I got really dizzy and sick because I couldn't see where I was going.

Rita- Didn't really like this one either. The speed lasted for a bout 5-10 seconds then it's crap. Was a let down really.

Oblivion- I absolutely love. Just the feeling in your stomach when you drop down. Wow it's amazing. Only been on it once but we got the front seats and I loved it. Could do with being longer but the drop is a great thrill.

They're just my opinions anyway.

Oh dear submission is RUBBISH. Don't waste your time on that thing.
We didn't have time to go on Ripsaw as we went with the school but it looked really fun :(.

Hmm, Shi-Kra at Busch Gardens in Florida? We've been on that many times, probably our favourite coaster.

I'll be at Alton Towers with school sometime when we get back after the holidays.. :P
