Hugh Grant has been caught on camera appearing to kick a paparazzo in the groin after being photographed on a night out.
The 49-year-old actor, who isn’t exactly known as a lover of the paps, was leaving the popular Waverley Inn in New York after an evening with friends when the incident happened.
The star warned paparazzi snapping him to “back off” and looks like he became quite agitated after one asked “Where are the ladies tonight?” replying “Not even a man, not even a man.”
When one photographer advised the actor and his friend on where to get a taxi Hugh appeared to flip out and landed a kick between his legs.
Hmm cant say its the first time hes done something like this :(

All paparazzi should be shot, they are such scum. It's called invasion of privacy.

It comes with the job though you can't start acting in huge films and place you self in the public eye and then expect to never be hounded by the press.
Its like someone becoming a Milk man and expecting to not have to get up early in the morning...

He hardly tries so shy away from the press. Sure they will invade his privacy but I think people who are suffering from poverty would like to lead the life he leads with the press or not.

He deserves to be locked away if it isn't the first time he has done this. Silly man.

If people weren't interested by celebrities and didn't buy these things then there wouldn't be a Paparazzi as no one would be interested in them. It's called capitalism.

He's done what anyone else would of done if your privacy was being disturbed and constantly annoyed. Good on him for being human is all I say. The only person I know who doesn't have any sympathy when it comes to the paparazzi is Katie Price, because if she has ago at the people that make her a living then she's as dumb as she looks. I'd hate to be famous or popular for this very reason, yeah the paps make a living out of it, but it annoys the crap out of the poor celebrity (when the paps become annoying).

He should be left alone really, if he doesn't want the hassle then people should just leave it but if he flips out that's probably £5k in the pockets of the first guy that gets it to a news company, it's such a high paying job it will never go away, it's funny how only pop stars, politicians, actors and the brainless freaks on rubbish like Big Brother, it's not like metal bands get this much coverage, I guess they get it luckier. xD

I think he's reffering to Darren Toogood

Serves them right, I'd hate it if at least 30 odd people were following me constanstly. I know its the paparazzi's job and for some pictures they can get a huge amount but they are like vultures.
i remember watching the news when it showed britney spear's car stopped on the motorway and about 50 pap's swooped round her car to take a picture. In my opinion, thats taking it too far.

the paparazzi are desperate obviously for news. if a normal person like you and me kiked someone in the groin we wouldnt think anything of it.
