How to Jailbreak an Ipod touch 32Gb 2nd Gen

I am quite interested in Jail breaking my Ipod touch.

I've been looking at tutorials on Youtube, but by seeing some of the constant constructive criticism on most of the videos, i'm not to sure on which one is the best to go for and Jailbreak.

I've bought the Ipod off Amazon but i'm not to sure if it's Jail breaked or not. I've emailed the former owner of the Ipod about whether is the Ipod has been Jailbreaked or not but unfortunately i haven't managed to get an reply back from him. How would i know if it's Jail breaked or not?

Anyway it would be great if someone could provide me with a step-by step tutorial on how to Jail break it.

- Do i need a Mac or Windows to Jail break? Currently using a Asus - OS/Xandros operating system.

use which ever one suits your needs
i used the untethered 2nd gen ipod touch jailbreak for windows.
he has same thing for mac.
follow step by step with him and your good.
