Anyone play? Show off some contraptions, I've got a shop I've got saved on Adv Dupe I'll post pictures of later, it's mostly used in RP servers, you can use it to sell drugs/guns/med kits/beer + cigarettes, it took me about 45 minutes to build because I was working on a design that'd be unique.

Shame I can't watch them I'm using a USB dongle and it blocks Flash :P

There's an amazing RP server I play on, it's LightRP but custom coded with a thing called "Cider" you can buy cars, do raids etc it's fun. www.ventmob.com

I am about to buy Garrys Mod for £5.99 but I was wondering it says you need another game/source to play. I have got CS, CS:S and CS: Condition Zero aswell as The Ship and Americas Army 3.

Is that ok and if I wanted to play on a server like that what would i need?

you need one other source game, CS:S is fine but I'd advise you get TF2 too as it;'s fun :)

Play on a server, well you'd need to get the addons they have. Most common are wiremod and PHX storms model pack. They are from SVN, you can find out most things from the forums: www.facepunch.com or www.garrysmod.org for a file repository.

Yeah you just need another Valve game I think. It's a cruel game when you're new on Garrys Mod, you'll see red error signs everywhere when people and using wire etc and you won't be able to see it.

I've just bought a server, I'm uploading loads of DarkRP files, I've edited a few custom jobs and I'm going to edit more later, I'm just trying to sort the forum now. :P

Heh, RP is for *****s (If you have ever been on Facepunch you would know this, most people who play it are <13), I personally play SpaceBuild (Much older community, 14-25) :P.

I'll stick with DarkRP thanks, it's funner when you can sell the drugs and guns, and if there's a squeaky kid on my server I'll just ragdoll them and molest them - I've added a few custom jobs and I'll do shipments tomorrow, this thing is gonna take forever to upload via ftp because slow dongle is slow
