Just felt like a moan on how i wish i was there and i'm not, i went last year for the first time ever, it was better than every holiday i have ever had combined, including my holidays abroad to places like portugal and tenerife. I really wanted to go this year but my sister has this thing that she cannot miss for anything so we cant go. It's not on next year anyway so ill have to wait til 2011, its not on next year because Michael Eavis (owner of worthy farm - where glastonbury is) wants to allow the 'ground to rest'

You should all really try and go in 2011 or any other time, even if you dont like the line up because the music is a really small part of the festival experience. It's just amazing!

Yeah, Jordans right. It's every five years when Glasto has a year off, it's next year off is 2011.

Next year is 40 years of Glasto so they are trying to do something really good (rumours having most of the best headlines from the previous years on the Pyramid Stage).

i don't really see how it can always be better. i've never been mind you, so can't really comment. my sister went in 2007 and 2008 and she said 2007 was much better than 2008. guess it comes down to personal preference.

I enjoyed 08 more than 07 so yup it goes go down to preference.

The Eavis' are planning a week long festival next year to celebrate Glasto's 40th Birthday, imagine what the farm would look like by the last day if that were to happen!!!
