On six years of success! Congratulations too to HabboxForum for its FIFTH birthday (ok we're a bit late on this one.)

As per the announcement thread, you can reminisce here about old times or just congratulate all the staff!

I class this as feedback due to the constructive nature (old times, or congratulating the staff on a job well done (FEEDBACK!!!)) but don't let it get too spammy :P

Loooool I remember a few of those, well good. I was involved in Woodrallys themepark, CTP LOLLL. I remember the forum revolutions especially, when we like rallied against MAD. I think quite possibily the worst part was that we were gonna send an angry letter to Sierk PMSL.

MSG I cant foret omg, they were well funny. If you had MSG in your name everyone went like omg we're gonna diieeeee. It was even funnier that Just-one was one of the big people in that, AND an admin here. I swear he still has an admin account, nice bloke he was. Can't forget Adzeh either, he was a legend in the News Department, proper noice guy. Shame he doesn't come on anymore, I remember he was all about his cricket lol.

Roll on another year, where I will probably stick around because I'm a complete saddoooo! :D

Biggest moment on Habbox for me... was being given an HC by this person, trading it for an mode bar and then a week later, discovering Habbox and finding out it was rare ^.^ :)

I think Habbox now is at one of its best points, like in the earlier days of 8Freak8s reign but for sure not at other periods following that. I think though one of the things Habbox has lost recently is the united feel that the forum had during particular issues but then again it can also be seen as a good thing as it shows people are actually happy with the forum and management and that Habbox is now taking notice of what people want.

I remember the Discuss Anything forum had Clarissa and that group of people in, I remember like Tom, smiddy with a 1234 - god theres loads. I remember the rivalry between Habbox and ThinkHabbo and when Vodor and his site nearly beat Habbox into the secondest biggest fansite, if it wasn't for his site being hacked and him leaving there probably wouldn't be a Habbox now.

Oh and does anyone remember someone on here got banned on Habbo for having a go at Sulake/Callie on the forum?

Elkaa being the worst Forum Manager that didn't do anything (although MAD did most of his jobs anyway thanks to his power hungryness)

TooClose, Mizki and the Hobba who was a DJ for HabboxRadio (can't quite remember her name). Bigbutsound is another one, and the French DJ who played the piano really well.

Getting banned and causing riots :D

Krews and all of those weird groups who got hacked (then they got hit worse off when Mentor did something to their illegal vBulletin Board, which slowly went down in versions until it died, that was lol worthy)

If I remember correctly (I wasn't very senior then, I can't remember what my position was) it was a combination of us releasing the v7 info early and Max's Petl image. Most of my memories are more personal than anything others would know about but I'll mention them all anyway..

I remember being new to Habbo joining the 'ARMY GANG MAFIA' where the owner told me he was going to hack habbo and be more powerful than Jibbi... I then went to HxHD and begged them to stop him lol

I remember applying for the Habbox Radio and never getting a reply so I got a job on HabboFM lol. I also remember Habbox Radio turning into Radio Habbo and then the rise of Habbox Live who to this day I have never listened to out of protest (not so much out of protest any more)

I remember one of my first posts on habbox forum where someone told me I shouldn't be aloud to speak.

I remember getting a job on HxTV and making my Doctor Who show.. I then remember becoming HxTV Assistant manager and how no body would do any work and everyone (including the manager at that time) expected me to produce 10 episodes of 10 different shows each week... I then jumped ship when I knew the whole thing was going to be shut down so I could save myself from getting fired..

I remember first getting a job at HxHD and how GJAY got mad because 8Freak8 removed her rites.. she then went on to 'secretly' telling me that some people 'like 8freak8' need to learn who their superiors are... this is the first time since I have told this to anybody lol. I then resigned from HxHD soon after when WiseBen left.

I remember how I was one of the few visitors who would go to HxHD when nvrspk first became manager and 8freak8 came in and told me he thinks I should be the manager... 8freak8 then asked MAD and nvrspk to hire me and I became assistant manager along side nvrspk and Sony.com who was the assistant manager also. HxHD wasn't very popular at the time so two assistant managers were not needed.. this was why I became part of some sort of conspircy to get rid of Sony.com as he wasn't very popular with the visitors or the staff members of the help desk.

I remember resigning then returning months later to become the manager again... then resigning again and becoming the manager for the third and final time where there was a lot of issues surrounding HotelUser being called names.. It was the third and final time where I spent to much money on credits to give away as prizes lol

Well I remember the Housekeeping incident as I was really good friends with Max and Seacat at the time so they kept me fully informed. I don't go as far back as nvr or MissAlice.

I remember:

When Spam was King with Barkseh, Craig, Helen, Clarissa, Smiddy, Harry, Joe etc. Great times. Lots of rule breaking- lot of infractions but no moans about it. Not Smiddy of course - his poo never smells :P :eusa_ange

When Lee (Lolly/Beer/Yaesu) almost persuaded the whole forum that the above were big bulllies when in fact it was him causing the trouble most of the time. Seacat almost blew a gasket at him if I remember rightly. That was the only time I have seen him E-mad.

When Neversoft was articles manager and also made some amazing rooms before he left for the aime section.

Some great FM/AFMs- Baving, Barkseh, Jimi and A4AOwen. I think A4A was in love with Clarissa:eusa_whis. Wayne was a forum admin god too and probably one of the nicest people on Habbox.

When Ostinato was a great SMod/AFM and the forum 'agony aunt' - no teenager was immune from great advice.

A certain very clever erebel who shall be nameless posting silly drawings but then changed the image source to something rather more risque or puke making. He had me running around in circles until I finally figured out what was going on. I thought I had gone slightly mad when going to edit then it changed to a silly drawing and then changed back again! :P

There were some great Smods too: Dan, the cookeh man:love7:, EternalMasque:love7: to name some who are not here anymore. :( Great times as a Smod with them. Also Garion,Bomb-head, Yoshi and Brandon of course but they are still here as well as Jay [Mr.OSH] who was a baby mod then! :)

I do not think I will talk about rebellions.:eusa_whis

People I don't miss include CATZSYFKINDIE! who spammed the whole forum telling everybody I was a bug and a few others.

Most of the great people have already been mentioned. I thought I would just add a few to the list.

Nvr has been through the lot and has finally been given the respect and promotion that was long overdue. He knows I mean that. Congratulations to all Habbox members past and present because without them there wouldn't be a Habbox at all. It's the community that matters.

JackHB, seacats were great back in the day as mods, much more informal and less clinical back then, an example of this was the fact a member had the user title i love jackhb for about a year as punishment for something or other.

I also remember way back when i had the highest post count on the forum for a few weeks (before gommeinc overtook me) back on me old account where i had my prolific 30 or so posts a day :p
And the sad times after i got banned (unfairly i mignt add - danm no old account unbans)

Before spam when the chitchatty thread happened in discuss everything, was the same freeflowing conversation as spam, excpet without the spammy pointless replys. people read the thread and followed the conversations

Not as happy with Ostinato as supermod though, the abuse of power was kinda bad, i got banned because he didnt believe me blood is red not blue..

It was his fault in that he was a loser who had an underage girlfriend and cut himself with a screwdriver because of kids on a habbo forum, but if we use that logic (which I think we should really) then bullying would be allowed because it's clear that some people deserve it :D

Omg that was so funny, I remember everyone in the RVR team saying "omg I'll resign if u get fired", he got fired and like 1 person out of 20 resigned :P I remember spending like 5 ours writing a bloody article on that and Adzeh Pm'd me saying how kl I was at writing :8

I forgot about the avatar distortion thing, I think that happened just before I registered because I remember it happening but don't remember my avatar being affected.

Actually it was more than one, about half quit and another one or two quit afterwards when the values weren't being updated anymore, or were, every week or so.


Mwahaha, good times in the RVR department. When he made a thread like "I think I'm going to be fired" everyone was like "If management dare I'm going with you!!" The time came and he was dismissed, I think like DawnOfAaron left (deleting all stickied threads with him) Kaytii (was it?) and Holo-Jonny (or something).

I said I was going to go with him then realised I might become assistant ;) I stayed after that and surprise surprise 2 months down the line I was manager... for a good 18 months or something. There was so much scandal surrounding that. Who made that image on the t-shirt "I survived the samovar scandal" or something, lmao.

Then Pitch and his fixing when he tried to cause the whole department into disrepute. Then the same with fitcovboy who thought he was bigger than Habbox itself because he was "friends with sierk" :rolleyes:. Then I fired him and he was like "You can't fire me - I resign. I'm not some kid you know, I'm 24" or whatever age it was.

Nvr, remember the AGM mix up that happened... me accidentally telling someone they were in line to be the new AGM and then ---MAD--- came online and changed his mind. I won't name any names, might be sore times for people.

That was either Adzeh or 2hd. I think, and I got exactly the same when I tried to make a move, infact I remember we (the department) all agreed that the Majestic Chair needed to go down to 2.0 CS rather than 2.5 CS and I had then-management come down on me like a tonne of bricks, even though the whole department agreed it was at the wrong price.

I remember being told stuff when I was a moderator that I disagreed with, but it was so long ago I can't fully remember. I remember messaging anyone who disobeyed rules because it was the only effective way to make them aware of their wrong doings - but I learnt how to moderate on a different forum :P
