Overall it depends on what you class as a success, i'd class a success in a hosting as keeping a high level of uptime, making alot of profit, staying open longer than 2 years.

Jake will do a good job as RV manager, and whatever falling outs Jake has with upper management getting rid of him was about as stupid idea as when they got rid of Dan - HHGS Values became a success because of Dan, just like I am sure DH will with Jake.

I think people might miss the technical side of this. With such a "high profile" launch, they're going to need a SHOUTcast to cope with MANY listeners at a high bitrate which will utilize a LOT of bandwidth and a reliable one will NOT be cheap to find and I'm not sure if an ordinary host around here would be able to cope with a large load like that.

I kinda sent in a general sort of application, mostly for rare values as i've always been interested in the trade market! :) Im trying my hardest to develop my programming skills [PHP and MySQL] but ya know.. I'd like a job anywhere, its all experience I suppose :)

Plus, Jake's entering the rare values scene again, so Habbox's values will probably become a little outdated from time to time, and with Jose as radio manager, it'll be truly up to scratch.

I think most of you are missing the point.
They have taken the time to select the greatest, more reputed and the ones who are the best at what they do, to ensure they reach the stardom this site deserves.

yeah i was abit iffy, but I think ppl have kinda backed off from habbo fansites because they know the circumstances and that but hffm is paying it in installments i believe? I'm not sure tbh.

The thing is you could be the best at reporting values problem is getting users to move from Habbox to another site, Habbox has been the unofficial rare values guide for the best part of 5/6 years. Other popular sites have tried CH tried and failed HHGS have them i think. But still you go to a trade room and 90% of time the trades are based on a values provided by Habbox.

Well my personal comment is that once ollie and ryan fall out like they did all so many times. The site will split. They are both owners, unlike CH, where only ryan was owner, so ollie left. With them being both owners, neither of them will quit.

However if it turns out well the HFA's might have its first rare values award lol!

Habbox's massive user base is near impossible to take over in the short term, you cant compare a 4-5yr fansite to one not even made, but judging by clubhabbo, this will be a success ;)

Good to see you're interested and behind the site too.

Also, just in general. This isn't opening to compete with Habbox or any other site for that matter. We don't expect to go head to head with Habbox because they are five years in front. Although all management have a vast amount of experience on numerous sites that doesn't mean it's the recipe for success. It'll be a learning curve for all involved. I've only ever worked for Habbox (really) so it'll be a nice change for me.
