I went for a walk today with my dog down this path and there's a stream/ditch, I sometimes let my Dog go in the water to play. Today near the start where the water flows into the stream it looked funny so I didn't let him in:

Should I get my parents to ring somebody?

Certainly something in that water, thats hundreds of dead fish.

Probably something toxic in there, erm you could try ringing the council or the RSPCA... not sure who to ring, but it is very dangerous.

That's horrible! All those poor fish :( there's definately something not normal about that, all those fish dying at once.

Is it not just a breed of salmon that has eventually died after breeding?

According to the website, it's quite alot of different species of fish; carp, pike etc. etc. The council should do something about it, or at least comment on a form of action. Ignoring it will only cause problems, especially as the water is used by a fishing association.

Its the environment agency thats deals with this sort of thing.
