Well i just got back from the fair and i was wondering how much do those people pay for those rides, like twister, the waltsers, energizer ect?

they are owned by the fair company and then rented from them by the "Owner/Runner". Worked on fair last year for summer :P thats how i know.

If it's a fair like goose fair we have in nottingham, they'll be individually owned, or they are owned by the family of the people who take them from place to place.

They vary from around 20k to anything up to 200k

Yeah they arn't cheap, then you have to get the public liability insurance and all the appropriate licensing, then get trained on how to maintain the ride and how to transport it. It takes alot of time, money and effort, theres just a simplicity stigma attached to it.

Yeah, they are really expensive, most rides are imported aswell, so that would cost a bomb on its own.

You can get some of them cheap.

They're about £600 to rent for the day, which I suppose is not mega bad and that comes with a ride operator.

No lol - Well we didn't when we did it at school it was like £599 for some weird kids ride for the day.

Usually 100k+.

But then you have your transporation including cranes for some rides. Then your insurance, your maintenance (including painting the ride before every fair they go to).
