Well my mate has an iphone 2G it has a broken LCD screen he wants to sell it to me for 15 quid shoud i buy? i called apple they said it would cost 149 quid to fix screnn i was wondering should i still buy and find private fixer or do myself? or leav it? and if so any TUTs how to fix the LCD screen

I have absolutely no idea how useful this is to you but cnet did a video on how to repair an ipod touch screen a few weeks ago. idk if it applies to the iphone or how broken yours is but good luck if its any help!
