Any optical Physicist would say that is a shadow... if you pay attention you will notice it's elongated right from the hallway to the fireplace.

If you look at 2:04 you can see the shadow in full. If you look at the figure/shadow's head it's hair outline is different to Michael Jacksons. But if you pause the video and look carefully at the yellow coloured wall in the distance where the corner is you would normally see the shadow bend or end, here it doesn't. (from what I can see)
