I got my tongue pierced and was wondering what types of food i can eat now until healing is over. I have started on Lollies and Soup and about to eat pasta, anything else that is advisable?

soft foods and liquids will be the best as i assume harder foods might knock the piercing and stop it from healing properly

I went home after having mine done and had a spaghetti bolognese with crusty garlic bread, it was fine. Different things for different people, but I never had a problem with mine. Soup is always good though I guess

Yeah try stick to things like soup. Liquids and soft food. Watch if you eat crisps because sharp bits can hurt :/

Bricks :D.

Nah, just stick to liquid form foods for a while, try not to have anything too hot or too cold, it could aggrivate it, it could swell up and become really painful.

Only until the swelling has gone down, nobody noticed that it changed it until i told them at work.... So i guess slightly, you will notice it though, big time. And a woman a work now has a lisp through it

I would imagine as you get used to it, it would go.

you have your lip pierced? there was a chance of getting a lisp when you had that done.

i have snakebites and they've definitely given me a slight lisp.
