Well what do you expect.. funerals/public memorials aren't really fun.

They did say at the beginning that the family reiterated that it was a 'public memorial' and not a 'TV show'.

Obiously it's not meant to be fun, and live, like everyone else said. It's a funeral/public memorial for God's sake. Although, I don't find it boring.

It's not exactly a funeral - the family had the proper funeral before the TV stuff. It's just a public memorial thing.

It was quite a standard memorial service - not too flashy or over the top.

His daughter speaking as amazing though, she did that so well. When Jennifer Hudson came on and they showed a clip of Michael speak about something (basically will you miss me etc etc), that got me going, it was soo moving!
