You've got categories for each section, why don't you choose a blogger too. It'll get people into using the blogs, and whoever does the best articles and blogs occasionaly and has good stuff to read, then all the moderators will do a vote in the staff forums to see who would win it.

I just think it'll get a bit more intresting if we can read peoples blogs and it'll stop the feature being as pointless as it is at the moment.

Nice idea though not many people blog.. im sure they planned on removing this feature soon (when they get around to it). I think big sites and blog sites let it down really it would be nice to give it once last try, with some serious effort in promoting it like the above post. Advertise it on hx and forum banners or whatever. Offer prizes get people wanting to blog.

That won't work, they tried with the Chat and everyone got bored of it quickly.

The chat is very different how creative can you be in a chat room compared to writing stories etc and telling your day to day stuff in a blog. I guess there are that many forums here that a blog isn't really necessary? Things like RSS latest blogs on Habbox.com would help

That's why I've made this thread, because people don't use them, perhaps if they done something like what I've suggested, it'll get people into using them.

That defeats the point, this is built into the forum so it'll probably be used as a benefit.

Sorry I agree with the others on this one. The capacity to make blogs has been on the forum before MAD left so that's a long, long time. It never took off, mainly because if anybody's got any news they put it on the forum. It was and interesting idea that never worked. The concept is fried, died and laid on the side. Nothing will breathe life into it.
@Blinger, spot on! It could be a clone account I think. :P
