FAQ updates..

You need to update the FAQ a bit.. There are a few images which have been replaced by a generic(?) Imageshack picture. Here is the picture:

I'm fairly certain what that means is that imageshack got hacked...I think we'll wait a few days to see if they are able to restore all the images (which I'm pretty sure they'll do before too long). This is some erebel antidisclosure group hacking imgshack to further their cause.

However it brings up a point that images should probably be hosted locally. Once we can actually see those images then perhaps we will move them over to uploadpicz :)

Perhaps? I think it should be a definite that is very silly to why it is hosted on an external website that is not controlled by hx management.

The reputation points information was originally created by a moderator as a favor, who uploaded it on an external site many moons ago to show the forum manager and see what they thought. The Forum Manager thought it was a good idea but we have never uploaded things like FAQs images to Habbox, it would be like us uploading announcement images to Habbox that were only used in the announcements.

UploadPicz never existed back then.

Its scary that I remember the origination of that image enough to explain that. I've been here too long.

Not now they aren't, before they were :P We never hosted things on Habbox way back when. Now most of the images are hosted with UploadPicz/Habbox but there are tons of old images :P

But yes we should change it but I'd like to wait until we have that image *back* so we can copy it.

Cool I'll get to work on having them moved to UP :)
