I'm looking to buy a optical mouse since my rollerball ones have failed (been through 4 this month :/), and this one caught my eye (http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.100-1642.aspx).

What I want to know is, is it USB or PS2? It doesn't say, any help appreciated.

I would highly imagine that its USB, it would proberly say if it was PS/2.

O.K, thanks. I was also thinking of getting a Predator mouse from Amazon, but there's too many buttons =)

Too many buttons is never a bad thing! :P

Yeah PS/2 is kinda dying as a connection option. A lot of PC reviews I read describe them as "old school connectors" :P

You should buy a wireless one, the connectors now are tiny. I literally just got myself a new Bluetooth MS one, after having my old MS Intellimouse for 5 years, but it had a old giant connector.

PS/2 is actually a better connection than USB in terms of Mice and Keyboard, I forget why but I was reading something about it the other day on OCN.

Yeah, I try to go with PS/2 where possible.

I totally hate mouses that have a trackball.. tis completly impossible to get any precision or move the mouse with any speed using it.

I'm using the mouse posted by the original poster. It's very comfy to use and it's USB :) It also comes with a connector that enables you to plug it in to the usual port for a mouse.

Oh, mine didn't. Emirates, did you notice there was a mistake in the manual?
