They ran out of ideas, i'll look forward to it.

OK from reading Digital Spy as I usually do, I know that The Bill is moving to 9 and will continue to be shown everywhere in the UK, but Scotland. This is because in Scotland, ITV is run by a different company and that's why it has a different name and everything and they're dropping it to show more Scottish programmes. If you're in Scotland and have Sky, you can watch ITV1 London if you go on Entertainment in the EPG and scroll down so it's in the 900s.

It will also only be on one day a week now too.
I saw it the other day and I hate the way its filmed now too, and getting rid of some of the older characters really ruins it for me and reading about thats why they got rid of them, for being too old. Makes me think what pigs they are and I'm almost glad its back firing on them but on the other hand im not because I used to love it.

They are getting a new theme tune, yes :D
and the time may well change :O didn't hear about that lol, but there is gonna be a new theme tune :)
If it's at 9, there can be more blood and voilence to get us more involved in it :)

No it's not finishing! As many people have said it's going to be on once a week from 9PM with a quite a few changes that will either be a love or hate to its auidience.
i hope it tickles my fancy :D

It was at its best when theres was other storylines involving the cops instead of just "missions" all the time.

Scotland is not losing The Bill
21 Jul 09
ITV3’s schedule has been reshuffled and room has been made for The Bill.
This means a second chance to see our BAFTA award-winning drama on Monday nights at 11pm; which is a repeat of the previous Thursday night’s episode.
STV decided to invest in locally produced programming which will leave our London produced show off their schedule.
Now that the new HD 9pm version of The Bill is to be repeated on ITV3, our Scottish viewers will still be able to get a view from the frontline...

I'm quite disappointed about the fact it will only be broadcasted once a week. I enjoyed having two episodes to watch on the Sky+ Box.
Even though, I suppose its a big cost-cutting exercise. Reducing the episodes they have to film and get a cast for by 50%

With that slot gone for Wednesdays with coronation street and emmerdale filling them they will never get it back again!
It was moved to 9 because of the scenes in the show last week riots etc were to violent for before 9pm television. So they have to put it after 9pm or known as the watershed which is good because i'm loving these latest episodes.

this new format is suckyy the cops don't have personalities anymore...
Not much of a theme tune lol.
I like how they're now doing filmic cameras now so it looks more like a film, than a tv program :) good effects, but that has been happening for the past few weeks. The characters are the same tbh.

No no no!
It has moved due to once a week due to problems they were having to have two a week and have accepted a later slot and by doing so they can include more grittier stuff. It wasn't' purposely moved.
I know but the show that was on the other night at 8PM was to extremely violent and it was before watershed. I know it wasn't purposely moved. But them showing that at 8-9 is like me having swearing on at 12pm on a kids channel lol.
That 'grittier' stuff can't be showed until after 9pm.

The other stuff at eight was fine to be honest, it was only a little riot! Go live in london, youl see that at any time of day.

I know what you mean about the personalities and what not. But hopefully its more action-packed and more like a Police Drama, then a Eastenders type one :)
Yeah but full blown beatings and molotov cocktails. An advert a which included two men kicking (not properly violent, like martial arts and dodging) and it had to be shown after 9pm.
Stupid rules, In Portugal, Scream is on at 8am, no censors lol.
