Well there is female circumcism in some parts of the world :P :D

It's very rare, but usually involves the removal of some, most or all of the clitoris (it used to be performed in ancient Egypt).

And I haven't been circumsized either.

I have and I'm from London, to be honest I prefer it because it's cleaner. Plus the girls I've been with love giving me a you know what ;):P
EDIT: Like posted above mine was for medical reasons aswell. Plus I disagree with it being more pleasurable if your not, it is more sensitive if you are, so what do you think is more pleasurable.

It hasn't even come into my mind about circumsission(sp?). I thought only people of the Jewish religion had it done?

It's a thing you wouldn't even dream of having done tbh. NO. Not for someone like me anyway. Painful, stupid and pointless imo, unless the person has a tight foreskin or w.e ;l

It becomes less sensitive if you are cut, as the glands on the penis become less sensitive due to friction/exposure - it doesn't mean it becomes useless with no feeling though. I think I need it done for medical reasons, although at the moment as i'm unsure, because once its done I guess theres no going back.

No I am not Jewish (well my Great Grandfather was), I had it done when I was about 4 for medical reason.

Fair bit of blood, I wasn't put to sleep.

It doesn't hurt really. I don't see why some people have such a big problem with it - for some people (including myself) it put me out of a lot of pain.

Yeah but the excruciating pain after the operation is unbearable, it is alot cleaner and there's more of a chance that a person who hasn't been circumsized to catch std's rather than a person who has been circumsized.

If it keeps getting stuck it can be fixed fairly easily.. no need for a circumcision

Well the problem is it doesn't go back like, very much.. at all. I went hospital and so on to get it sorted and they did an operation which was supposed to loosen it up, he said there was a two in five chance it wouldn't work and it didn't sadly.

Phimosis is quite common, usually it can be aided without surgery if its not severe or even steroid creams.

Yes, I am circumsized but not for a religion, it has just been the way males in my family generations did.

And for those who are stating the pain part - You should be getting this type of surgery when your a baby (hopefully) So you wont remember the pain when you are older

You know you can just stretch it over time, like 5 minutes every day morning then again at night. Don't overdo it but you'll notice an improvement if you keep doing it for a while. Definately don't get it circumsized, there's other ways around phimosis.

I am aware of this, and have tried (early on when I was still going through puberty, so I'll probably try again).

Do try again, it worked for me and saved any embarassment about going to the doctor. Still it's worth the trip if it's bothering you, they can help offering creams that help the stretching process etc.
Worse if you went to the doctors worrying about fordyce spots only to be told that they were perfectly normal... not that I ever did that of course... :(

People say it can be stretched, but I suppose it depends on the situtation. I know if I did that it would hardly make any difference and the doctor did say it was rather tight, if it was simple as stretching i'm sure doctors would advise that and not circumcision.

I'll have to have it done most likely, although with you they could offer this other alternative that I had done (2 in 5 chance of failing) where they make a small cut to loosen it up and it heals within like a week, doesn't hurt at all really, although as with happened with me, it didn't work. :P

i think we kinda have the same problem. when i'm flacid i can pull it back all the way but it does feel tight and when i'm erect i can only get it part the way.

i've looked into it on the internet about ways to go around this and i got told that just pulling it back twice a day for about a month should do the trick.

although having the problem I have doesn't effect me during sex. Just the condom doesn't go right but it still works.

I don't want to get to graphic about it on here but if you actually physically stretch it with your fingers to the point where it's uncomfortable but not sore for 5 mins, morning and night over like a month you will start to see results. I had much the same as you, could get it back flaccid no problem at all then erect it would only go so far.
I'd only ever consider circumcision if it didn't go back at all when flaccid, even then it'd still be worth a try stretching it rather than jumping the gun and getting it removed.
