Was he allowed to say stuff about the outside?

@above, not normally. But I think Big Brother kept it away from them incase someone was a big over the top fan of MJ and it could have ruined the show. (Thats what I heard)

To b e honest, it was unfair that they didnt tell them in my eyes... just because there in a house for a TV programme shouldnt mean they have to be kept away from huge events alike that one

Would've been better if they didn't know, takes away from the feeling that they have been isolated from the world when they come out.

Yeah but honestly, it is a big thing

Yeahh but say if Big Brother had told them about Michael Jackson's death, then it would be like shouldn't they tell them other big world wide news too. Don't ask me what, 'cause I don't know, but surely there's other big things that have happened that they don't know about etc.
I think it spoilt it tbh.
They should feel special anyway, they were the last people in the world to find out. LOL.

I can see why big brother didn't tell them about Michael Jackson's death, apparently a few years ago they didn't even tell them about the London bombings so it would have been strange for them to share this.

With the old housemates going in, one of them was bound to say something about the outside world though. Thought it was more likely to be that Brian Belo though :P

I think they should know about things that could have an effect on housemates because i'm sure Siavash said he had tickets for MJ

It would of been better if they didn't find out until they got out!

I know, i'd prefer it that way but in a way i do think they should know really important stuff
