Creatine just helps supply energy to your muscles so you work harder and don't get tired easily during workouts. :P I like them. You can get them in different flavours like strawberry, banana, vanilla, grape, fruit punch etc. Mix 2 or 3 scoops with water or milk and shake it, then drink before and after a workout.

My mate takes Protein shakes, always says to get them from specialists (H&B's) and try to find the best brands as some of the rubbish ones give you mood swings and the like.:eusa_wall

Yeah some cheap brands contain far too many carbs which make you gain fat.
If your going to buy supplements then I would only trust protein from Maximuscle or other large companies.
Creatine Is great, completely different from Protein supplements. It's cheap, lasts long and is effective. Creatine Monohydrate is what you should be looking for, you take 3-6g of it a day with around 330ml of water. Though, it puts alot of pressure on your kidneys so you will need to increase your water intake to around 3L-4L I myself have no problem consuming 3.5L of water a day + all the water I consume from foods.
Any brand will do, creatine monohydrate is all the same thing but some foreign brands might add harmful/ steroid like substances which Is why I would only ever trust creatine from a decent brand like Maximuscle

I suggest www.myprotein.co.uk it's probably one of the cheapest websites to buy protein and stuff from. It's a reputable website and thousands of bodybuilders around the UK use it because its all good stuff unlike big brands like cyclone and maximuscle who add lots of undeed stuff into their powders such as lots of carbs and sugars.
