I know this is a really minor and insignificant detail but I found it intruiging :P.

On Habborator's page about the history of Habbo (link (http://www.habborator.org/history/index.html)), there is this line; Look at the catalogue icon in your toolbar. It has tabs on top - a relic of an old version of the catalogue.

It relates to this:

To see what it means, look at the top of the catalogue icon here:

I'm only pointing this out through curiosity because I saw it as just a ring-binder on the catalogue but I love this alternative idea of such a subtle historical reference among this super fast pased evolution Habbo is always rushing through - which always makes me feel Sulake have forgotten or don't care about how much of us love the old stuff. I was just wondering how others saw this.

Cheers! :D

Yeah it's a good find, and an interesting way to put it, but I really am certain that it was not meant to be like this and instead how you said, a ring-binder on the catalouge.

The old nav was the best :@
They should've just kept it in that style tbh but made it look more modern obvs

Niccee! I never saw Jibbi looking like that before, and lol at her mission! Apparatus wasn't really a manager, he was one of the creators (of the whole thing, not just UK) :).

when i saw jamie had posted about apparatus i knew id scroll down to see someone debate it, apparatus was considered a caretaker/manager but people always say daisy was the first. Thing is apparatus was created before daisy so ye lol

But this really isn't that great of a find :s its like saying 'through all the fast paced evolution of habbo its great to see the way they still have the bobble hats'

It really isn't like that at all though. Bobble hats were never taken away. And I never thought a bobble hat was something else that it isn't.

Daisy founded Habbo in the UK. Apparatus was one of the Finnish duo who created the idea, the original Finnish hotel and founded Sulake. That is what I'm lead to believe.

This isn't a "find" anyway, merely a discussion about people's perspectives of a particular detail :).

That is because that screenshot is from a retro hotel which was version 1. Someone took the liberty of taking screenshots of every catalogue page and they sent it to me ageeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees ago :)

so yeah, Jibbi isn't actually... Jibbi, it's just an account on a retro server.

Uhm I think this is where you got confused, that referance was actually talking about this cato icon:
http://www.habborator.org/history/gfx/werkbalk_6.gif

That icon does actually have tabs at the top like the old cato but was used as an icon even while the new cato was used so habborator was correct in saying that but they just didnt update the page then habbo finally changed the cato icon.
This quote from habborator: "Look at the catalogue icon in your toolbar. It has tabs on top - a relic of an old version of the catalogue" was written when the cato's icon was this still:
