Anyone got a link to the verified discount prices for UK students? I heard students may get it for free/a hugely discounted price...
So, has anyone got a price table of some sort on how much they will cost?
Will be much appreciated and I will give +REP to good answers!
THANKSSSS. :D

software4students.co.uk will sell it cheaper, or you may get it free if your school has MSDN access etc etc. So talk to your school about getting it free.

Well I'm going 6th form in September, and that counts as college, I'm not sure if my school has MSDN, I'll have to check with my IT teahcer.
Thanks for your help though, least someone tries to help! :P

Ask the I.T. manager, they may be signed up to something else that can get you it for free or cheap.

So is mine, they'd just look at me strangely if I asked if they had it. So I just ordered it for £45 at PC World.

What is the point in paying for something when you can get it for free if you're a student?
If not I'll probably end up buying/upgrading to it anyway, or getting a cracked version. :/

Cracked? what's the point, I'm currently using XP cracked and it's annoying have to bypass WGA every time it comes out, when Win7 is out i'm going legit. XD
I'd rather pay the £50 then play cat and mouse for another 5 years. XD

To answer the question about what MSDN is it is Microsoft Developers Network. There is about 6 levels of MSDN starting from MSDN OS which is just os' all the way to Visual Studios MSDN Team Suite which encludes eveything. And then there is MSDNAA which is for schools.
I get Win7 Pro for free from my school because of MSDNAA.
*edit* didn't see it was about 1 and a half months old.
