JJB Fitness gym?

Anyone know how old you have to be to join.

Im 16 and wnt to join,but it doesnt say on the site how old you must be.
I now u cannot use some features. But what are they/

i no the gym at the leisure i work at is 16+ but offers these course things to 14-16 year olds wher we have to watch them. they aint allowed to do weight training though.
all gyms are different. some are 18+ some are 16+ and some you can join under 16 but not use weights.

I'd have to agree and the rule makes sense. I was with my friend at the gym a few weeks ago and he was doing weights while I was on the running machine, the place was crowded btw, so anyway he must have been pushing himself too hard because out of nowhere he projectile vomits everywhere, dropping the weights he had in his hand to boot. Everyone else just had this disgusted look on their face but I was gutting it, quite seriously one of the funniest things I've ever seen. He's 16 for the record.

I'm pretty sure it would be 16+ for the basic stuff and like someone said 18+ for heavy things. Gym near me is 16+.

I actually work at JJB Fitness and it is 16 to use the gym facilities. Under 16 years old you can only use the swimming facilities within restricted hours (usually weekends but it differs from club to club).

Do you know by the way that it actually isn't JJB Fitness anymore? It was bought over and it's now DW Sports Fitness. The sign of your gym and that are probably still JJB but it all should be getting changed before 2010 mate.

The gyms are absolutely spotless by the way and such a great service for what you pay! I say you should defo join!

You should be able to join at 16.
Most features will be available by this age I should think! :)
