Has anyone ever loved anyone who constantly treats them like poo, has lack of interest in them and generally doesn't care.
It's awful, I'm in that situation and dunno what to do.
Anyone the same?

i know its hard but you should think of yourself in the long term; while you're still wasting your time with this person, you're also throwing away the chance of meeting someone new and who would be worth your time.

I tend to go for guys like that a lot :@ I did have a relationship like that once, I was just there for him when he needed something, not as though he could truly rely on me but sometimes he could be really nice so I just thought over his good points and made up excuses to stay with him :/ and I was only ever happy if he was so that didn't make it any better..
I wouldn't say it was love though because I don't think you can be in love if it's just a one-sided thing so I just gave up after a while. I think boys like that just totally shatter your confidence and you feel like you don't deserve better and that you're "lucky" to have them but you're really not, you already seem like you've realised that so you should do something about it, no point holding onto a relationship with someone who you can do better than

Get a little self respect and dump their arse. They don't sound like their worth the time.

I guess so. But I'm really self-concious, and this person understands that. I say constantly that this person is too good for me, etc... so evidently this person feels they can treat me like crap due to my lack of confidence, assuming I won't end it. So difficult.

I agree with you totally and I understand what you say. It's a difficult situation though, I've ended it now. But I still love this person to pieces. It is shattering - you're right.

oh right haha.
if you absolutely cannot gain confidence then you at least shouldn't show it to the person. they have no right to treat you like crap and if you show that you can stand up for yourself, by telling them to **** off then they'll think twice again about how they treat you.

True. I ended it last week, and the person has been an absolute diamond since then, until today. Constant excuses though.

constant excuses will just lead to stress and hurt, as you'll want it to work with them but if they're going to be like that then it's simply not worth it imo.

Yeah I know. Thanks. :)
Sounds like a total prat - tell them to fix up or drop them tbh.
I've loved someone that confused me before, treated me well one minute then like crap the next.
