Building on the success of Map Pack 1 and Map Pack 2, we?ve decided to continue support for CoDWaW and announce the upcoming release of Map Pack 3. Today, we?re happy to bring you the first details.Call of Duty: World at War Map Pack 3further expands the awesome COD multiplayer experience with four brand new maps. Fight for ocean territory in "Battery,"an armored island surrounded by anti-ship mines and shore to ship cannons. Watch out for sniper fire as you defend Russia's most coveted resource in "Revolution,"and keep a sharp eye out through the dense, overcast city streets in "Breach,"set at Berlin's historic Brandenburg Gate. Zombies return in all their undead glory with "Der Riese" (Zombie Factory), a Nazi research facility featuring the weapon upgrading Pack-A-Punch Machine. Use the teleporters to escape in an instant and fight to the death in pursuit of the map's 10 new Achievements/Trophies.Map Pack 3is slated for release this August. Yeah that would be great. They shouldve done this with cod4. I have no doubt if they did at least 3/4 of the WaW community would still be on cod 4 :P

I will be buying this, not for the MP maps, but for the zombie maps. Cod:WaW zombies is one of the most fun games ever to play.

I don't think it has anything like zombies, I think the "special" thing this one will have is the co-op SAS styled missions.

Also the maps look cool (not sure about battery though? :S) but to me, the zombies sounds like a bit of a reverse not going forward. I mean theyre going nazi again. They better re-design them for this one, compared to imperial ones they look awful.

Nacht der untoten+verruckt shared because its the nazi zombie one. Imperial zombie one is much better and hope they use this for the next one, not the nazi one.

I have new info related to the Zombie Maps regarding the Trophies/Achievements:

40 Knives!:
Kill 40 zombies with the bowie knife.
Acquire Waffle Weapons!:
Obtain the Ray Gun, DG-2, and the Monkey Bomb at the same time in a game.
Der electrican!:
Link all teleport pads before round 7.
Frequent Flyer!:
Use the teleporter 8 times.
Locksmith!:
Open all doors in the map.
The Might of the monkey!:
Use the Monkey Bomb.
Perkaholics Anonymous!:
Survive untill round 20 without buying a single perk.
Pack Addict!:
Upgrade 5 weapons at the Pack A Punch Machine.
Wacker Packer!:
Upgrade any weapon in Pack A Punch.

Apparently it's coming out today, todays' CoD:WaW update backs up my friends' theory.

I doubt it, they said August. Also they havent even released a trailer yet what's the point in marketing DLC if they're is no punch to back it up.

Over the last week, we've received a number of reports from the community regarding issues that range from matchmaking difficulties to strange Nazi Zombie co-op behavior. These incidents have been caused by some users who are hacking their consoles and ultimately damaging the online experience of their fellow gamers. This is not isolated to Call of Duty - incidents of similar hacks have been reported across several titles.

We and our 1st party partners have been working diligently on countermeasures to these security breaches, and these will be going live in a Title Update early next week.

Important note: As a result of accelerating the release of this Title Update, users will see menu changes that were not intended to go live until the release of Map Pack 3. In short, you will see the Map Pack 3 levels in Private Match, Split Screen, & System Link. When you select these maps, you will be brought to the Marketplace blade to download them; however, they will not be available until they are released in August. This is only temporary, and you will be able to download the maps as soon as they are released.

Thank you all for your understanding and continued support, and we look forward to seeing you on the new maps next month.
