Running a single programme on another monitor on XP

I know how to do that on Vista via HDMI but is there anyway to do it in XP via VGA? I have my computer hooked upto a 32" Samsung TV via VGA but I want to have iTunes running on another VGA monitor alongside it. Plus anyone with W7, is this feature still available in that? As if its not possible in XP then I'l just pre-order another copy of that for this.

once you connect the monitors you should just be able to drag the program into the other window? ;s

Yeah and if if doesn't automatically come up, right click on the desktop and click properties, go to the tab on the far right, click the screen maked "2" and click "extend my desktop onto this monitor"

Yes, do what Prof-Alex said.

You can run the same computer across as many monitors as you want in theory.

Once you extend the desktop I recommend using software called ultramon to increase the functionality.

There is no need to download any software except maybe the nvidia or ATI or what ever graphics card you have.

Do I need a certain cable spiltter or whatever as the one I was about to buy on amazon someone's reviewed that it can only do identical monitors?

How are you currently connected at the moment?

On your graphics card is there only one VGA output? Is there a DVI port? Have a look at it.

Edit: You mentioned something about HDMI. What were you using for that?

With the splitter, the screens would bot be identical.

So the computer itself has to physically have two ports right. I'l buy a new VGA PCI card then.

EDIT: Oh. Its in the graphics card. :/
