Please for the love of god if you don't have Spotify, get it, and use these invite codes so I can get rid of them (it doesn't benefit me in any way):

I already have it. And i'd much rather listen to music stored locally and in a high bitrate instead of streaming it at a low bitrate.

That sounds geeky what you said but the music sounds the exact same to me :S

That's because ut is geeky.

Mr Bear has a premium account so he can listen in a nice 320Kbps ogg format if he selects it. Free users get adverts and a 160Kbps bitrate. No thanks.

It's not really that geeky, I know **** about computers and stuff but I know what you're saying.

I don't know whether I'm just not an audiophile but I consider the stuff spotify has really high quality, sounds great to me compared to some of the 250 kb/s mp3s i have.

Probably because they were recorded off the radio or upscaled from a lower quality like lots are.

I don't use premium, not until Ayria gets on there.

Ok, but for now you wasted £120 on a soundcard that your music can't take advantage of.

I use wmp for most of my music, Spotify for light listening for stuff I wouldn't usually listen to.

It has a severe lack of drum n bass so I won't really use it much till I find out they have more.

Still much easier to just use youtube for the odd song I don't have on playlist tbh. If I like a band or even just a song enough to want to listen to it more than once I'll download it

God knows, the codes are ancient, anyone can sign up but Spotify still tells me to give the 9 I have left out.

You get an invite code, you enter it in and get Spotify.

I can't see what's not to understand? :P

There are sometimes a couple of adverts at the side and the bottom, and after every few songs it plays a small advert like the ones you here on the radio. :)

If you skip the song just before it ends you don't get ads, the ads only come up if the song finishes playing totally, so just skip at that little blank bit at the end, especially if you have media keys on the keyboard :P

Does anyone but me think the deal with ioda is gonna push Spotify from having "a few record deals" to being absolutely huge and eventually overtaking itunes as the best music-related service (hey, they have a lot of good music).

Spotify WILL be bigger than iTunes eventually, especially as they are coming out with mobile app, just my opinion though.

I think the iPhone/iPod Touch apps of Spotify will be for premium users only. I already use Spotify, I've had it for ages yet only started using it about 1 month ago :S

it's funny how the fattest country in the world gets new year first, and the second fattest country in the world gets new year last.

Everyone in the world can use Spotify, people that can't get free can get premium.

I think.
