Slow Computer

No idea where to post ;]

My computer is going real slow since i sold it to my brother (hmm...) but ive checked for viruses and stuff but nothing and my internet is going real slow too :(

Has he bunged it up with lots of software? If so that will explain it.

If not, try giving it a defrag and clear off any unwanted software.

Is that computer the only one in the house, experiencing Internet Problems. Or is it pretty common, despite all - they could be linked with each other.

There was something called Zango? but i just uninstalled that.
What defrag do you reccomend?
This is the only computer in the huse but its been fine before he got it.

Zango is a notorious piece of adware that screws your computer to hell. You could try and do a defrag, registry cleanup, antivirus scan, antispyware scan and all that other stuff but I'd just recommend reformatting. And remind him of the dangers of downloading that "cool free screensaver" :P

Yeah, Zango is one to get off your computer. Perform a Virus Scan as well to be safe.

I use Defraggler, As i was told the defrag program that comes with vista is crap, Idk but i would recommend it.
