Recommend Me Decent Driving/Racing Games

Ok, so I always have a craving to play a driving game on my PS3 and I have seen a few like Juiced 2, Need For Speed, GRID, Gran Turismo 5 etc but I don't know what game is best for free roam, customization, big choice of vehicles and good graphics.

I've been on the following, so please don't recommend these:
- Saints Row 2
- Midnight Club LA
- Motorstorm
- Burnout Paradise
- GTA IV
- Ridge Racer 7
- F1 Championship Edition

I want the same as you but haven't really found any decent ones other than GTA and midnight club :P

Need for speed is alright but graphics kinda suck. I rented GRID aswell and wasn't a great fan of it, but other people seem to be so it's probably personal opinion on that one

Haha, same. I liked GTA and Midnight Club. I've been on GRID and it was kind of crap lol. :P

I wish they were still making Getaway 3:@ That's the only reason i bought a ps3 over an xbox and then they go and cancel it! The other ones have been pretty good for free roaming

Driver games tend to be good aswell and there's apparently one being made for PS3 but no websites seem to have any real info on it other than it's being made.

Yeah, I had Driv3r but never played Parallel Lines. I liked Getaway 1 for PS2. :P

Getaway 2 was just as good! Black Monday had more variety of cars and characters and better graphics, but 1 let you indicate which idk why but i liked that:(

I've got wheelman :P IMO, it's quite bad. The graphics aren't all that good and neither is the gameplay because it's so repetitive. It's more of an arcade style game than it was made out to be really

I was gonna rent ferrari challenge but then decided to get dirt and gran turismo prologue instead. Gran turismo wasn't all that great either, you just bounced off things with no damage:S I always look for damage graphics and real life features tbh like the indicators:D

Yeah haha. I'm downloading Wheelman demo now on PS3. I was gonna get Juiced 2 but my mate said that was crap. Has Wheelman got free roam?

errr, yeah it has but it's not really that interesting!
I don't think i've played juiced before, I think my brother had the first one on PS2 but said it wasn't very good so I didn't bother

Lol, lack of decent driving games. :( I read a review saying Wheelman was better than GTA IV! >;O Free roam driving game is all we ask haha.

my bum is it! GTA is my favourite for free roam I'll have to say. I used to spend ages online with random other people :P It'd be better with things from older games like customising cars and aeroplanes etc

Yeah it would. I liked Saints Row 2 customization, but graphics weren't that good. I'll look on IGN for driving games.

Is SR any good? I was thinking of buying it when it came out but the graphics put me off. Mercenaries 2 was pretty good for free roam but that was more army vehicles than anything else and random people shooting at you gets annoying :P

Burnout paradise is alright aswell, not the best still pretty good! Better than wheelman any day;)

Yeah SR2 is very good. A lot of customization for cars, clothes, apartments etc. Burnout is good too yeah but it was repetitive. :(

I think I managed to complete burnout in a few days.. only cost me a tenner on ebay aswell:D

Midnight Club LA is the best game on the PS3 ever! Lol. :)
Have you completed it? It's amazing, I have over 20 cars all spiced up, it's great!!!!! :D

Nah I didn't complete it, I traded it in because you can't get out your car and it was kinda repetitive. :(
