First ever layout/design

Ok well I want to learn to design and make layouts. So this was my first ever attempt to make a layout or even a design. so please dont be to harsh. But please tell me how I can improve.

Its pretty good for your first. Good choice of colors, yet its very simple and lacks content. Add boxes, ect.

Its pretty nice, kinda ruined it with a habbo picture there.

It was something that I had opended at the time to just grab an image.

Maybe darken/lighten the box with 'Reviews can go here' in, as the top of the box faces with whats behind it, and it dosent look right.

Nice though.

I was likeing it until it got to the content area, keep going from the header you need some sort of structure.

Not bad at all for a first... Got a long way to go though :P
