Habbo Big Brother Discussion Thread

Well it is returning soon as we all know and no doubt there is going to be tons of stuff about it so thought I'd attempt to get it all under one roof so to speak :P

I hated HBB at first (especially after covering it for News non-stop) but I've actually grown to enjoy it! :O

Anyway the press pack competition is the main thing (here (http://www.habbo.co.uk/articles/646-habbo-big-brother-press)) but it also looks like Bucho6 and Ludus may possibly be involved as part of a twist!

What do you all think? Any other rumours?

Not heard about the bucho and ludus twist but I heard (seen on forum) that ludus might be leaving, and bucho is leaving his job role as HM. Might be part of the twist

The only piece of news in this whole thread is a link to the same competition, which I already posted - and in more detail.

Just because you throw a title on that says "hey I have the right to say everyone is going to use my thread to discuss a topic even though there is already at least one thread about it" doesn't make it so.

Tbh I think it should be against the rules to make threads like "Post comments relating to subject here" unless you actually at least have something to start it off. Even then, you could probably argue every time somebody posts some news, they are intitalled to state their thread is for all future discussion on the wider topic. I think that would get annoying fast.

Repetitive Threads
Please, when posting News, make sure there is not already a similar / exactly the same thread. 5 Threads on the same thing can be quite annoying, and leave a mess to clear up - Please use the Search button if you're unsure.

But given I'm not news management any more, I guess I automatically don't have a voice.

I wasn't using my News Manager status because it doesn't have that much hold. I just have an interest in HBB as it's my favourite event.

Additional information for anyone who is considering taking part in Habbo Big Brother. Read this before you apply!
Habbo Big Brother will involve a handful of contestants but there will be numerous additional competitions that will involve everyone.
Information on how you can get involved and win some cool prizes without being a contestant will be published after applications close on Tuesday 11th August at 11:59pm.
Contestants are likely to get a lot of attention and will have their Habbo names published regularly in articles on the Habbo homepage. You should take a moment to think about this. If you do not want this kind of attention, please

The competition will involve both Public Rooms and Guest Rooms. Details of the Guest Room elements will be published after applications close on Tuesday 11th August at 11:59pm. The search for our Habbo Big Brother Housemates begins...
Habbo Big Brother Auditions are mainly for entertainment as the vast majority of contestants will be chosen from just the application form (http://www.habbo.co.uk/articles/657-habbo-big-brother-applications-soon). However, a handful will be chosen from a combination of both live auditions AND their application. You should think of the live auditions as an opportunity for you to make your application form stand out from the rest.

You all have to que flat against the wall closest to the pier then you go over to the band stand 1 by 1 and shout out why you should be chosen for HBB, you only get 30 seconds though. Oh yea, if you shout while its not your turn you're supposed to be kicked but I haven't seen this happen as of yet.

This just makes me think that the group theory (that the changing colour of the group badge represented different groups that will compete in the house) will work. It's very popular format on Big Brother USA and it'll add a Habbo-style twist because no doubt we'll get to choose our favourite groups and help them win tasks and such.

The only thing good about HBB this year will probably be the outside competitions for the people that are not in because they obviously knew the housemates that are selected for this year's HBB are a bunch of noobs and it's really unlikely that anyone will actually watch them since the chances of them providing some entertainment is slim.

Anybody could make a new account/clone with any name followed by any number they like :P I could make a new account called barbara-HBB31 , It doesnt mean they are new contestants. :D Since there are thousands of names available for each number the possblilties are endless.
