'Better Than Easy' by Nick Alexander.
Tis fourth in a series.
I'm reading The Summer House by Christobel Kent. I'm not too sure about it atm. I'm about a third through and i've not exactly been excited about reading it, but I hate starting a book and not finishing it, even if it's crap. From the blurb it sounds as if somethings about to happen but at the moment its just a book I read in the bath :)

I'm currently half way through re-reading Half Blood Prince, I decided to re-read it to reiterate exactly how furious I was with the pathetic attempt at the film.
I've written a list of what the film missed out so far, how sad xD
But y'know, when the films missing something like the new Minister of Magic it's a bit silly

While on holiday I finished reading "The summer house", which I decided was good once I got into it. Then I re-read "Pirates" by Celia Rees, who wrote "the witch child". I really love Pirates because its romantic but not in a soppy boring way. Then I re-read another book called "The thief lord" which is rly a kids book, but its set in Venice and I love Venice so I re-read it.

I'm reading "Notorious" "created by" Cecily von Ziegasar. Its written by a shadow writer though, so I find putting her name on the front pretty wrong. It doesn't matter thought, the shadow writer should be ashamed, its utter crap. Glad I only payed a quid for it in asda.

Have you read the other 'IT Girl' books? Or the Gossip Girl ones? It's the second book of a series you see so might be a bit harder to follow if you haven't read the other one.
I'm reading "Outliers" by Malcolm Gladwell.

I read this book called the Book of Genesis. The story is very imaginative and at times very well thought out. Although I think I would have liked it better if Adam and Eve managed to eat from the Tree of Life after they ate from the Tree of Knowledge and became beings akin to God. That would have been a good plot twist. I was surprised to find that the book contradicts itself sometimes. Such as when God cursed Cain for killing Abel, yet places a mark on Cain to protect him when he begins to fear others.
I also read one of the sequels which is called the Book of Exodus. It's pretty good, but not as good as the original. I don't really like how God kills all of Egypt's firstborns when he is angry with their fathers. Surely if he was angry with a bunch of men he could kill them himself, since he is the almighty God afterall. Plus why would he kill innocent children? Plus why does he send Moses to do his dirty work when he could easily do it himself? God is fairly violent, sadistic and just plain rude in the sequel in comparison to the Book of Genesis.
Nevertheless, they're good books and I would recommend them. They bring up quite a few good messages and they have a deeper meaning than I originally thought they would. There are a ton of other sequels, but I hear you can buy them all in two big volumes. The first is called the Old Testament, the second is called the New Testament, pretty straight forward. There's also this side story called the Dead Sea Scrolls that I'm trying to get hold of, but no where seems to have it at the moment.
On a completely serious note, I read The Catcher in the Rye. It was very interesting and unlike anything I've come across before, so I was pretty much glued to the pages upon starting it. I was surprised to find that the story only takes place over about two days, since I didn't really know anything about the book before starting it and I was also surprised at how relatable the book is even in todays day and age, despite being over fifty years old. An impressive read.

Unfortunately I don't have the time to crack into novels. Part of my job is reading screenplays and teleplays, so they're pretty much cinematic novels. I can't get into a book in my spare time because I'm pretty much read-out by that stage.

I wanted to see what all the hype was about so i went out and bought the first book. I'm a pretty fast reader, and i finished the first one in a little over a day. Haven't read that fast since Deathly Hallows. Finished it the first day i got it, just over 12 hours reading i believe.
Watched the Twilight movie after and its crap. Totally different to the book. So now i'm waiting for the second one to arrive in the post tomorrow. Finished the first, might as well read them all right ?
