The last British survivor of the World War I trenches, Harry Patch, has died at the age of 111.

Just last week (http://www.habboxforum.com/showthread.php?t=591465) another British WWI veteran died leaving just one British WWI veteran still alive, Claude Choules living in Australia.

That is quite sad, they were keeping the memory about the war going for quite alot of people. At least he is with his friends now :)

I think that if as a family member loosing someone like that would one of the most comforting people to loose. He's had a long full life and has become an honorable man...

Massive shame, he lived in a retirement home in Wells which is a couple of minutes away from where I live. Expect a lot of people to turn up there to pay their respects in the next couple of days.

A real big shame to hear this and now nobody can talk about the war as if they were there. RIP Harry. :(

RIP to all the brave soldiers of every war. Remember that every time a soldier shoots down another, he is killing somebody in the same position.
soldiers have no choice in which side they fight on, only that they do fight.
