Anybody have one? If so, how easy are they to keep? Are they noisy at night?

Some general info on them would be nice :)

My brother has one, I had to feed it today seeing as my family is away for tonight. It's easy enough to keep, make sure you have the right temperatures in the cage. You always need to turn the lights off in the cage at night because in it's natural habitat it's cold during the night and extremely hot during the day.
I've taken a few pictures for you to look it, the cage window is a bit dirty but it's my brothers. Blame him for being lazy and not cleaning it. Also you need to change it's water ever 1-3 days and we feed ours crickets every day at around 3-5pm

I'd say ours is about 1 year and a bit old. We had a previous one but it died because the padding in the cage was wood chips, it's a good padding, nothing wrong with it. But somehow some of it got into the it's water bowl and it accidently ate it, and well that was it. But they are very gentle creatures and my brother and dad take really good care of our current one.
It costs about £100-200 for the cage and they cost about £80 per adult and £50 per baby. Adults are easier to adapt, the babies need different equipment which will need changed after 1-2 years. Also they eat fruit and veg for the first 6-12 months.

Yeah I have two.

Cheap pets to keep, As Paul said feed them crickets daily only need about 5-6 ish, when they are bigger you can get locust to feed them.

And Yeah if you get a baby, you can buy a viv (cage) For an adult then you dont have to change it. But yeah you have to clean it out ever 1-3 months..

Cheap wood chips are suitable. Very nice pets, just make sure you handle it alot and feed it.!

I had one, posted pictures too - They sometimes dig alot at night, don't leave crickets in their cage - they will nip her/him. You need a big cage, mine grew to about a foot (Incl tail) - They will start off incredibly shy, get one while its young and handle it every day wash your hands as they tend to use taste to check their sorroundings, vavvarium was cleaned every week for me - I would reccomend this - Mark.

EDIT: I would reccomend getting a male, females are likely to have phantom pregnancies, during this time they become fairly aggressive at points.
