Same sort of thing happened to me, I made a GM ticket and was waiting in Violet Citadel, GM answered ticket, appeared then told me to come up to the Purple Parlor and gave me cake and a fireworks show. Was pretty cool.

Awesome, lol :D I had my first ever one a few weeks ago in the Sunwell, but the pictures I got were naff :| He was all; "You must save Azeroth from KJ. The world is in your hands."
Was quite funny :P
