I'm going away to Lanzarote this week coming up and i was wandering what it will cost to text or ring back to the UK.
I'm on 02, the people i want to ring and text are on the same network. I have 02 unlimited at the moment which allows me to send unlimited free 02 to 02 texts for the month. Will this be the same in Lanzarote?
Please help, +rep.

No, you'll get charged normal text rates + roaming charges, just like on a data plan. Don't O2 do a bolt-on where you get so many roaming texts and calls you could addon for a month?
Also Lanzarote is a nice place, go down to Puerto Del Carmen, there are some fantastic icecream and restaurant places there that overlook the sea (can also watch the planes come into land, its eerie watching random lights glide across the sky xD Also sometimes you see whales and dolphins :D) if you haven't been there before.
My advice is buy a Vodafone sim card when you get there for 20euro and you get 12 euro free credit, it's cheaper that way to call and text people back home. Trust me on this one I live in the Costa del Sol and I refuse to use me English sim over here. Plus Lanzarote has a good night life.
