Not a chance for £350, you're looking at a budget build only for that cash, light gaming at a push.

I know your custom building but I just quickly looked and this is pretty decent for £350:

Comes with an OS as well. Custom build something like that and the money you save not having an OS could get you a graphics card.

Are Mesh the same company that sold in shops like Tescos? I seriously can't remember and only recently (sort of) got one for my mum for like £500 (probably because of the Intel processor and 1TB storage) :S They're quite a good computer company either way :)

To be fair, not too shabby lol.

To get a good gaming PC, you would have to save up much more money. Gaming PC's are supposed to be top,top spec and you simply cannot afford this with your budget.

Maybe you could look on ebay? Sometimes you can get some quite good deals on there as long as you don't mind it being slightly burnt out :P

Yeah that is very true, it would be able to

I was actually kinda shocked with the specs you could get for 350 quid lol

You could go cheaper on the DVD drive and the case and get an even better graphics card than that actually!

4870? With budget PCs I tend to get a fairly cheap case.

I'm not clued up on model numbers, it just stands to reason that if you save a couple of quid on parts that you can go cheap on, you can put it towards improving other parts :)

Incidentally, what are the pentium dual cores like?

Not exactly, gaming PCs are computers designed to run games at near-to-top-spec - thus the reason they're gaming computers. They're not designed to be top-spec for the sake of it, otherwise they're just impressive, super computers (or whatever the wording is, too tired :P).

And I'll answer my own question, Tescos did once sell Mesh computers and they are very good for quite a good price :) The only downfall is that Mesh have terrible customer service, but people very rarely use customer services/help centres so no biggy :P
