i do love it too, for short periods. my dad and step-mum have been away for a week and it gets boring looking after the house. if it's for a couple of nights then it's wicked but i don't like having to do all the housework like atm lol. it's quite scary at night sometimes because it's in the countryside surrounded by fields in a relatively old big house.

However, even in teh daytime I get freaked out about because I know that intruders are more likely to come in the daytime if they think nobody is at home.

I live in an apartment with four girls, so when I'm alone I can actually crack on and do work, so I'm more than happy being home alone. I'm going over to Ireland for 3 months solid, being on my own in a hotel room. Thankfully the days are anything from 12-18 hours long, so I can't get lonely.

I love being home alone, I can turn up my music, run about the house, and if I'm going out when no-one is at home, I can avoid my mum asking me if I'm going to be alright and to make sure I look before I cross.. :l
But at times it can feel a bit lonely, especially when I'm watching a scary movie, yes I am a wimp :D
