There has been a lot of fake emails going out. Not sure if somebody got into Habbo database. I have had at least three but not for a while.

I think that what happened a while ago this girl tried scamming me saying her cousin was Lostie, and wanted to help out with this room he was making. Me and "her" talked a while and we met at an habboxlive party. However we taled on msn too. And she said her cousin sent me an email and I looked and sure enough there was one asking yet again for my password, i made up and excuse saying i didnt know my password. And she said I would be issued a ban because of wasting his time. In the morning there was a email from habbo with the list of my accounts on it, but it was obvious that they used my email to do that. So probably they were the other email what i got sent, but I wouldnt believe anything. And furthermore, I didnt get issued with a ban.
Well i did about 5 months after that but that was for another reason but its all good now because it was a misunderstanding

If they were issuing a ban (which obviously they can't), they would need to know the Username - which they asked for ;) - so again it fails.

They asked for my username and password on the email,
But afterwards when i didnt reply, she was asking questions like. Whats your post code, where do you live and whats your favourite teacher.
I wasnt stupid enough because I new she was trying to hack my email!, so after that she just blocked me muhaaahaaa

They could at least try and disguise it as a proper Habbo email with the layout and everything :$
And to the person above. They were asking your post code? They don't even know the link where you don't need the post code to get into a hotmail account? Tsk :P

Nope, you can get into both accounts with only an answer to their secret question if I remember correctly :) No postcode or anything needed.

Even so, I must say that's probably the best written scam email I've seen. They usually have loads of made up rubbish like the "owner of Habbo" and "Habbo is closing if you don't tell us your password" as well as the usual one word of English per sentence. But they made it look half professional.
Still, epic fail :P.
