I've never actually been to a restaurante and ordered steak for the question to come up. I suppose I'd have the same preferences as you, I can't stand the sight of blood with my food. Steak is always nice tough. :)

Yeah I had it medium-rare once and I pushed the fork onto it and all this dark red liquid leaked out of it. :(

Rare. If you think rare is weird, check out steak tartare.

Like I mentioned in my previous post - steak tartare - it's finely chopped raw steak binded with egg. It's completely raw. People should look down at THAT rather than rare steak.
Blue. Unless the restaurant refuse to serve it blue, in which case rare.

Blue is horrible. I can deal with rare but prefer medium rare but blue steak is just horrible I say. Maybe it was just that particular steak but I'm just not so kean on blue steak.

Having your steak well done spoils the flavour.
I like mine medium rare.

I love the juice and the blood you get with a blue / rare steak. It just has so much more flavour. It tastes much better, it's just most people can't stomach it.

Out of curiosity do the people who take theirs Well Done etc know what they are missing? Have you ever tried it rare? It's night and day.

Well done. I've tried rare steak before, and although it is pretty tasty I just can't bring myself to eat more than a little bit. It's too rich for me, I can't stomach it. Each to their own.
It depends which restaurant we are at. There's this Italian called the Bellavista that we go to quite often and if I have steak instead of Salmon, I ask for it to be well done. I like them medium but a lot of places call my medium well done and vice versa.
