Is it me or the forum or what?

I've noticed (only recently really) that whenever I'm looking at a relatively old thread that is supposed to have images in, the images often aren't displayed.

For example, the "Post Your Setup" thread in the Technology section. Hardly any of the images display for me. Or if you carry out a search for something in particular in the Graohics Section, most of the results link me to threads where I can not see the images.

I'm aware that it often happens with pictures uploaded via Iaza, so I'm guessing they delete them after a certain amount of time. But they can't all be Iazas lol. Of course there's the possibility that it's just my laptop, but I've 'Cleared Private Data' and all that but I still get the problem.

Does anyone else experience the same difficulty?

Yeah. A lot of the images are hosted on sites that are no longer running (like tehupload), so they wont show now.

Its probs because the images havent been used in so long, they have expired, so it relieves disk space for the host.
