ESPN has sealed a deal with VM to broadcast their new channel, with 46 EPL games this season.

If you have the XL package its free, if not its 10pound unless you already have the Sky Sports package where you get it for 8.

I'm guessing ESPN bought some of Setanta's games then and Sky bought the rest?

No ESPN bought all the remaining packages, they beat off Sky!!

It's gonna be in HD too, woo! :)

Oooj ESPN HD, Yeh they bought the last two packages that were up for auction, currently you can only get 'ESPN Am(erica)' on Virgin Media which you have to seperatley subscribe to.

They got everything that setanta got last year, saturday evening games and weekday games I think.

HD - What the point lmao?

Im just happy to watch the game, could not give to craps if i can see every wrinkle he has in his face lol!! But guess thats just my opinion?

Its more than just 'every wrinkle'. Its better color quality and such.


Its also worth noting that ESPN now have UFC, they fought off a couple of channels and will be carrying



All UFC PPV's, including next weeks UFC 101 - BJ Penn vs. Kenny Florian.
UFC Fight Night's.
The upcoming Heavyweight season of The Ultimate Fighter (and all future TUF's).
Most other UFC shows.

According to the UFC/ESPN press release, there is much more news to come on the deal and what they will be airing MMA-wise.

They've got 46 PL games and 30 SPL games this year then only 23 PL games for the next three seasons.

Has someone got Championship games? I'm sure I seen it somewhere, maybe BBC.

Anyways it launches at 8 tonight.
