What do you do?
What do you do?
It's from my parents.
I don't work everyday and don't work for very long everyday. When I am working I get around £10 - £13 per hour depending on how fast I get the job done. I would do around 3-4 hours max a day and like 4 out of 7 days a week. Sometimes more sometimes less. Adding things up about 10k tbh, not bad for someone who has hardly even left school. :P But I'm going to be doing loads more hours as soon as I leave school, 6 days a week 10am - about 5 for the same amount per hour.

It's from my parents.
That's nice of them.
I don't have a fixed yearly salary. At my job I get paid a fee per project I am involved with plus incentives. I guess I could say what I'm earning this year.

what does your agent do? i don't understand why you'd need one for helping produce projects :S By the incentive thing, does that mean you get commission on top?
This year i'll have earnt about £15,000 from morrisons, waitering on evenings, and a project at Corus. (£10,000 for that - 6 week project).

I get 10% of what the Executive Producer makes, who I am an Executive directly for. My agent is for my protection and manages my schedules.

I get something like 5k a year doing my meagre hours, was gonna look for a full time job to get an actual salary (temping atm) but probably gonna be studying so no point for now until I know what next year holds for me. People getting hundreds and even thousands off their parents is sickening tbh, I'm hella lazy but I know that and don't complain about my lack of money because it's my own fault, I'd hate to rely so much on parents and I bet these kids actually EXPECT that money and are nowhere near as grateful as they should be for the most part

I have no intention of "boasting", I was just interested in creating a thread. That's the exact very reason I didn't list my earnings in the original post.
on around about 40 grand a year now :) but hopefully be promoted soon so il be on double that by the end of the year

And to think that my parents that are working their arses off are earning less, even when their wages are combined, then people on this forum. It's silly :(
No but you posted it without being asked. And not only that, the inglorious film, posting about how you got tickets to the premier. Doesn't sound like showing off to me but ok ..

To be fair, from our point of view it does seem quite snobbish to boast about such things, but if I got tickets to a premier of a film, I'd boast :P

Admittedly, there is a fine line between boasting and sharing, but trust me, I was sharing details, not feeding my ego.

Dont forget the 10% NI tax (on all but the first 1000) :p
And i think 5G's escapes the 40 % so you still get around 40 ish :p

Nah, the first 40K is taxed 20%, so only 20K of that 60K will have 40% slashed from it. (I think)

I'm still in High School, so work part-time 12 and a half hours a week, 2 and a half hours after school. Right now I'm working Saturdays while they get someone else, since the girl went to do her pre-reg as a pharmacist. I get about £3,000 a year, I get no pocket money or anything :(
don't have a job at the moment
i save my money up and it gradually gets bigger and bigger
From my pocket money, anually I earn £300 which is hardly enough lol :P Well, i'm not complaning really, I treasure it.

I've just left school and I only work Saturdays (apart from the holidays when I work Tuesdays).

I think last year I made around $4500? (US Dollars)
It was only at a part time job, which I only had for a few months. I'll be starting college in a few weeks, so I'll be only working every other weekend from now on, so it will probably be the same (around $4000) for this year, as well.
To the user who makes 60k and is only 19... How did you manage to get to that position?
