View Full Version : When posting
Am I the only one on hxf that always copy's my post (if it's a bit lengthy) before clicking post? I do this from experience, what seems to happen a lot to me is the forum messes up for a very short period of time and my post doesn't post and I've gotta do it all again. I was just wondering if there's such thing as a kind of post saver, so when you try posting something you can go back to it if anything messes up? I know this is only a minor problem and doesn't happen very often but when it does happen it's one of the most annoying things ever.
I always do it but when i click the back button it just goes back and i can see what i have wrote
Haha quick and useful thing to do if things go wrong.
I don't tend to, but I don't write long posts either. If I wrote a long post, yes I would, from experience, copy the post as in the past i've written heaps and then just had it all destroyed by the forum ******* up, or habbox for that fact when I used to write news reports.
As I don't write long posts, I don't copy it, but if I was to, yes I would. So you're not alone :P. Also when I do click the back button, my writing isn't always there<.<

I would hope vBulletin devlop one into their software for the new version. It's annoying if you haven't clicked "Remember Me?" write a post for over 15 minutes (either a really one long, or just check sites out while you're typing it), then click on post and it tells you you're logged out and then has lost everything you typed.
Most irrating thing, ever.

Back button works for me as well. If the post fails and I click back, the writing is usually still there.

I got into the habbit of just doing Ctrl+A then Ctrl+C after everything I wrote while I was writing news reports on Habbox. So now I do it all the time on the forum really.

That does usually work for me anyway.
