Is it still not allowed? I think if it isn't you should make this clearer to users because I still see sooo many people doing it, and if it's not allowed, they should know this instead of getting in trouble for doing it.

I know it seems small, but just something I notice :).

Additionally, I have noticed more than once, a thread where one user's post has been edited with a "don't comment in the trading section" note, while several other posts containing only comments haven't. Not sure why.

Btw are you supposed to report posts for anything, no matter how minor? Just I haven't reported anything much in the past and it feels a bit silly sometimes lol.

Edit: Oh and also (slightly off topic but still relevant), what's with mods commenting on threads normally instead of closing/moving them to a stickied thread on the same subject? There's a particular instance I'm thinking of where a few threads were made on the same wider topic even though there is a stickied thread for all subjects on that topic. In more than one of these threads, I saw a mod commenting normally instead of dealing with the thread. The best bit is, the stickied thread was stuck by the very same mod! :P I'm just concerned about this issue because if I made a comment with something like, "this should be posted here: (link)", I'd only get my post edited, a PM about breaking the rules and maybe even an infraction (which apparently I'll get if I post "off topic" one more time ).

I will look into this.

You can report anything you want, doesn't matter if its minor or serious. The Super Moderators won't mind at all. :)

Well ,in addition, to what Matt has said there are trading rules at the top of each forum e.g.
http://www.habboxforum.com/announcement.php?f=26&a=25
Members should know about the no comments rule but hopefully now you have highlighted it more members should know. Good thread.:)

You have reported these and they have been dealt with but you would not get an infraction for one off-topic post. If there is a few then they get reported to an Smod and there is no need to comment "this should be posted here: (link) ",as that is breaking the Habbo section specific rules and as Matt said there is the report button. :)

I always report things big or small :) Doesn't matter.

Thanks for looking into it Matt. I came to this thread as another person commented in the trading section again just now which brought me back to remembering about this thread

It's alright, I'm going to do a little reminder to the whole trading section either later on tonight or tomorrow morning. :).

Yeah I totally agree with this especially for serious traders. There are alot of people currently who are acting really immature in the trading sections which indeed I have reported which makes it hard for real trading.

I didn't really mean it like that sorry :D. I mean I was saying I know I can't say "this should be blah blah..." and I mentioned reporting posts :P. I suppose I didn't know exactly what I was asking so didn't make it clear. Basically is the mod supposed to ignore the fact the thread is in the wrong place if they want or what? I dunno I'm just confused lol  :P.

If the moderator has posted in a thread that is in the wrong area and that person also Moderates that section. Then yes they should move it to the correct section. Although mistakes happen, we are humans after all. Either way, still reporting the threads help. ;)
