Basically, the basics. I like this girl, we've been friends for ages and we've fancied each other for months - however, couldn't do much about it since she had a boyfriend. She split up with her boyfriend which semed great for the both of us, however her ex can't let go of his feelings and now she's thinking she may have feelings for him again and she can't decide who she wants to be with more, me or him.

Basically, I got into this girl's Facebook account and started talking to the ex (since he hates me now, suprisngly enough :rolleyes:) to see if he really loved her. And he did, that was until he started chatting up me on this girl's facebook account (who, by the way, is 14 and he's 16).

Turns out that he'd happily cheat on his ex with the girl I hacked, and that he'd happily have a full-on sexual relationship with the 14 year old behind her back.

So, basically, I can tell the girl I like that if she chooses her ex, he'll cheat on her with the 14 year old. But do I tell her? Will she get angry with me for finding out the truth by hacking some girls account? How do I go about telling her? Do I show her the screenshots of what he said? (Which turns out to be very graphic...)

Also, might want to mention that she split up with him in the first place because he 'pratically' went off with her best mate, and me and her ex used to be pratically best mates. Hmm.

She might be quite hurt you did all that to catch the fella out. I doubt she'd appreciate it. Besides, she may choose you after all, if she does like you and she knows what kind of a character this lad is. However, if you do tell her, you may not be the man she thought you were and you risk leaving her with no one. I've always gone with the fact that if someone is happy, I want them to be happy. And if she is happy with this lad, you could end up hurting her rather than helping.

i've been in the exact same situation. she went with me but while i was on holiday she did stuff with her ex. her loss now because both of us hate her.

but the last thing you want to do is show her the screenshots. that's certain to ruin whatever relationship you have with her atm. she sounds like she doesn't know what she wants, and from my experience it tends to create a lot of stress and worry. my advice would be to try and move on and find someone else, because at the end of the day, even if you do start to go out with her, she may be likely to do stuff with her ex.

if she gets back with him tell her because she could end up getting really hurt if she gets with you just laugh at him, chances are he will go off with the 14 year old then anyway :8:rolleyes:

I wouldn't mention that, what if she mentioned that to him (You never know it could happen). I can't imagine him being all that happy when he finds out he's been chatting you up. I'd get in there if I were you but hacking and stirring is probably taking it too far, try forget about what you've done and move on.

It's all sorted, I told her about it and she was glad that she finally got the truth from him. He admitted it all and they haven't spoke since, she said that she's glad I did the right thing by telling her.
