I have a feeling this may be in the wrong thread...mods move if it is.
But i am angry at the idiots who think they know everything...according to someone (we won't name names) 100 "scripted" typos were released on .com last week and people got permed. Now is it just me, but I thought that you couldn't script server side furni...And I thought that the most you could do atm server side is posters in black. Am I right or am I totally out of the loop with scripting...your thoughts. I also hate people who say "I was hacked." Pretty sure you can't "hack" habbo...
Your thoughts...

Habbo has been hacked into in the past. and people who say they have been hacked means there account has been accessed by someone else and changed their pw. And new scripts come along all the time.

I don't know anything about scripting but I also hate it when people say "I was hacked".
I assume they mean someone got onto their account. I imagine that would be the result of either telling them your password or giving them enough details to access your Hotmail. The way they go on about it, you'd think someone was sitting at their computer like you would see on a movie, trying to access databases with random passwords and stupid stuff .
When I was a noob, I fell for the classic "type your password and it will appear as ***" (this was back when my password was allowed to be three characters long lol so you can imagine how long ago that was ;). Anyway I wasn't "hacked" I was an idiot and got scammed, if you like. (I only had norms anyway so when I eventually got my account back most of them were still there :P). Basically it's not hard not to be "hacked" imo.

I can't see why someone saying "they were hacked" would get on your nerves? If they did not know the way they were compromised, keylogged, phised or anything else they would just call it being hacked, you can't call it being scripted can you? -.-

I was keylogged once.
once i was aware of the easy possibilities to be hacked over msn i blocked each and everyway, e.g. your ip can be gained by simply recieving or sending a file, that file could also be a keylogger, also sending & recieving voice clips can gain ip's in a way i do not know myself but know it is possible, so i also blocked recieving and sending voiceclips & always ask & block uneccecary things like sites & files.

If you are over protective like this, then i wouldn't visit any website that could be a fansite/anything related to habbo that isn't habbo... its so easy to get your ip otherwise ;)

I put my trust in fansites, Nor did i sign up to **** ones before i was IP Banned, so personally they can do **** all with my ip now :) And i put those in place mainly on for my old account seeing as i was 11 when i made it and had around 70 people on it that i had no ******* idea who they were.

You don't have to sign up for a website to get your IP ;)

Yeah I've been on dozens of websites that have had something that says, "your IP is: xxx" so I wouldn't be surprised if the webmaster can access this information themselves.

And? all i am to them at that time is a visitor with an ip? not Voiceover. a habbo worth hacking? Without having other details the IP would be dull seeing as they could be hacking any randomer.

How do they know i play habbo from an IP? all they know is the IP, if i were to sign up would be a different matter, but not everyone on habbo forums actually plays habbo?
this thread should be in bobba but why are we arguing about ips.
