Graphics Competition - August!

Well last month we asked you to create us two images to be used on the homepage of Habbox.com, and now we have an even bigger project for you! We're currently in the process of updating many of the pages on Habbox and it's the Habbo Dress Up game's turn!

What we would like from you this month is a variety of clothing of which we can then feature in the game! We are looking for both male and female items in all different colours and shapes.

For the males we need:


10 types of hair
5 styles of hat/headwear
4 types of glasses
40 styles of top wear (ie. t-shirts, coats, hoodies etc)
30 styles of shorts/trousers
10 styles of shoes
10 accessories (ie. guitar, skateboard, piercings etc)

For the females we need:


12 types of hair
10 styles of hat/headwear
4 types of glasses
10 styles of shoes
40 styles of top wear (ie. blouses, bikinis, hoodies etc)
20 styles of shorts/trousers
20 styles of long dresses/skirts
10 accessories (ie. champagne glass, chihuahah, piercings etc)

We know, that sounds like a lot! And well really, it is! However, we are allowing each person to enter 10 items, this may change in the future but you'll be notified of that. What do you get from this though?! You will get your work featured in the game, along with credit to you in there, as well as 3 days VIP of your choice for each item which is chosen. We do not want the images to be too big, they may stick out over the Habbo shape a few pixels but nothing major, if you're designing a dress for a female Habbo, you can take up the whole height of the Habbo (excluding the head of course) and a little extra to the bottom and sides!

How to enter
All you have to do is create your image in your chosen image editing software - we would like it that you can create two versions of the item - one with the item on it's own so we don't miss anything out when we cut that part out, but also the item on the Habbo of the chosen gender so we can see what it really looks like! Once you've done this, just upload your image(s) to an image hosting site, such as http://www.uploadpicz.com (http://www.uploadpicz.com/) and send a link to them in a Private Message to GraphicsComps (http://www.habboxforum.com/private.php?do=newpm&u=61828) with the subject of 'August Competition Entry'. You will have until midnight on 30th August to get your entries in, and judging will take shortly after and hopefully be announced on the 31st, but that depends on how many entries we have to look through! We have the right to change the competition at any time if needed, but an annoucement will be made detailing these changes.

A little update:
If you choose to enter a complete set of clothing (shirt, trousers, hat or skirt, top, high heels) you should state that in your entry and it will only be counted as one of your 10 entry slots, despite there being multiple pieces to the set.

Also, it is not allowed for you to simply take an existing item of clothing (from the old version of the game, or Habbo) and submit that. All entries should be your own work, recolours of the items mentioned above will also not be taken as an entry.

You have just over 2 weeks left to get your entries in! This may be extended if we don't get enough entries to cover all the items we need, if this happens it will be posted here too! To clear up some confusion, staff are also allowed to enter this competition.

We're now giving you the chance to win 5 days of VIP for each item that is chosen, rather than the original 3 days! You can also submit an unlimited number of clothing items, but a maximum of 10 of your items will be featured in the game.

We've come to the decision to close this competition due to the lack of entries. However, we will award the prize to the few who entered as a little thankyou.

As for the game, you'll have to wait and see what happens with that ;)
