Videos, jokes and funny stuff

I think the Videos should be separated from the Jokes & funny stuff section.

What if someone wanted to post a serious video and in there it wouldn't look right.

As soon as I see that forum I just see it as the jokes section etc, but tbh videos arent jokes or funny when you wanna make it serious.

Which bring me onto making the Videos section have the ability to we can embed youtube videos :>!

I think Jokes and Funny Stuff should just be it's own section and videos to be put in Discuss Anything. :)

Atleast remove the "Videos" out of the forum title then and we can just post vids in discuss anything.

It's a possibility, its half and half. If you get what I mean? Although the embed of youtube videos won't be coming soon I wouldn't think. As it got rejected before? If I remember correctly.

Maybe just changing the name so it can imply that videos other than funny or joke ones could be included.

yeah, jokes and funny stuff tend to mean the same thing - on this forum (although some users have weird sense of humours :P) but yeah, Funny Stuff or "Jokes Section" would be better, as noone actually posts videos unless it was a funny video.

You seem to be looking at it in a literal way. Videos can technically be posted anywhere in the forum (provided they back up a post and aren't the main topic of discussion). If a video is serious, it probably has another meaning to itself that could make up a discussion. The video section seems to be for joke videos, where the video is the central topic :)

It depends if people know to post "Joke" videos in a "Joke" forum, where the appropriate audience are. So hopefully the renamed forum will make that clear.

EDIT: Is there a name given to funny videos? Viral doesn't look right, but the forum description for the forum does mention funny jokes, pictures and videos so yeah, the name is little effort :)

Yeah so if it there for joke videos, the title "videos" in there doesn't need to be there, as like you said people can post videos anywhere aslong as it matches the topic, doesn't mean you need to have videos in every forum title does it?
