Oh of cause you played pre seasons there already lol. Nah, few Villa pals went to Emirates for the first game and they said it was great. Or will it just be normal at your place lol?
UPDATE - I have just seen a picture.. its crap lol?
Surely they could have done better. I know St Andrews is no Old Trafford but jeeez

The official opening ceremony was against Celtic on July 22nd.
The outside is awful but the inside is very nice.

i have just seen a better picture lol. It looks good, but i thought Cardiff were like expecting big things in the next few seasons like? Can that ground even be extended capacity wise because i cant see how a extra tier could even be added onto it.

It can be increased 35,000. Notice the length between the roof and seats.

Beat S****horpe 4-0.
Good performance against a plucky S****horpe side. We'll miss McCormack if he goes but, anyway, WE ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE!! :P

Yes he is, But are you a Sunderland fan? Please dont take any credit for him being such a good striker for Cardiff lol! After all you hardly give him a chance lol. I know its not your fault and im not making a pop at you lol!

Nah, he never wanted to play for us. He's a geordie at heart. He fluffed a winner at the Derby at St James Park. He failed to make an impression but he seems to do well in the Championship. Besides, he seemed to enjoy playing for Cardiff and honestly, I didn't reckon too much to him. I'd rather have Bent upfront.

Last season, he lacked his instict and his heel injury seemed to be affecting him. Over the summer, he had an operation on it and today he looked like his usual, sharp self. Paid £4m for him though.

I remember one of his first games for you against us, he come on very late, all Sunderland fans boo'd him when he came on, then he scored in like the 92nd min and you started singing 'Chopra's one of us, hes one of us, he's one of' was actauly realy funny ha. And for the record, if it wernt for us, he would not be threre now me thinks ;) Im waiting for a Cardiff fan to disagree!

What you on about "he wouldn't be there now"
Mexel
08-08-2009, 10:55 PM
You know what, i take back what i said. I was on about Cardiff signing a £4m player and its unusual for the championship and basicly bragging that we give you £5m for Johnson, but saying that for all i know you could be giving them it over 5 years or somthing. My post was somthing i got on the top of my head and posted within like 5 secconds lol. But to save me looking like a fool, you may even tell me im right ;)? But... ha.
Geraint
08-08-2009, 10:58 PM
Think Johnson is £2m now then add-ons and Sunderland owed us money from the Chopra deal to them so it might not be £4m. We bought Chopra before you bought Johnson anyway 'cause we had Chopra on loan with it becoming permanent as soon as the transfer window opened.

Oh i thought Sunderland would have paid all upfront. What did you pay Newcastle for him, was it 500k?
Geraint
08-08-2009, 11:04 PM
About that much, yeah.

Anyway, I hope chops does well in the championship, especially after we didnt give him much of a chance to shine. Good luck to him.

ah yes, darlington. such a great team they are.
same goes for half the teams in league one lol
if we didn't have beckford we wouldn't score as many goals, but we wouldn't be lost.

if you didn't have beckford you'd struggle to finish in the top half.

we have AFC Wimbledon at home.. it's a bit of a big game for us, seeing as we aren't that far away from us and they're expected to bring a few.
